JDS Spirit of the Century - 2010 Chestnut Stallion
( JDS Legal Enforcer x Liberation Spirit Electra )
This grandson of Whitmore Law and Order and Century Free Spirit, carries triple Trophy pedigree. His sire, JDS Legal Enforcer, and dam, Liberation Spirit Electra, enjoyed active show careers in the In-Hand and English Pleasure divisions. "Remi," short for "Remington" is a special boy, who loves life; is the official greeter, never drops an ear or his tail, and expects all visitors to have carrots just for him.
He began his 2010 show season as a five-week old in training with Damian Hyde. The youngest foal to be officially in training. Attached to his mother's side, JDS Spirit of the Century was shown in the Michigan Morgan Horse Breeders Futurity, the Radon Weanling Spectacular, placing in the top 10. He returned to show in the Michigan Morgan Horse Breeder's Weanling Colt class, placing 4th. He ended the show as Reserve Champion in the MMHB Futurity Grand Champion of Show class. Quite an impressive feat for a 10 week old foal.
At just a babe, he can stretch his neck, raise his tail, extend his hind legs and has a flat top line. He will model and pose for the camera. But, "Remi" really enjoys his status as the baby of the barn. His paddock mate, LT, isn't always interested in playing but that doesn't deter "Remi" from dancing with shadows. He may have had a very early start in the show arena prior to joining Creekside Morgans, but currently his days consist of playtime, eating, and most importantly sleeping.
More to follow on this beautiful colt in the coming months and years...
Willohaven Timeless - 2008 Bay Stallion
( Cartier x Emotion's of War )
"Ooh Rah" joined Creekside's herd of Morgan horses in July, 2010, shortly after the sudden passing of our foundation mare, Century Spitfire. Willohaven Timeless' pedigree is triple Trophy. A son of the World Champion Cartier, out of a daughter of War and Peace and a grand daughter of Noble Flaire, Willohaven Timeless was chosen for his breeding, conformation, talent, and type to be our foundation stallion.
Under the skillful direction of Travis Neidlinger, Willohaven Timeless was shown after only 8 weeks in traning at the 2010 NY Regional Championship Show. His respectable 2nd place in the 2-Yr. Colt Class gave indication of a solid career as an In-Hand horse. "Ooh-Rah" has a long neck that he craftly arches, in addition to a flat top line that you could easily stand glasses on. This is a horse that likes to model and pose for the camera. He knows he is "picture perfect."
We look forward to "Ooh-Rah" entering the show arena as both an In-Hand and performance horse in 2011. Keep a sharp eye for Travis and "Ooh-Rah" in the Junior Horse division.
